14. Website & Mail Hosting

14.1 Hosting Services Provider

All of our website hosting and business email hosting services are provided by 20i. When using our web hosting and email hosting services, you are required to follow 20i's Terms & Conditions, which can be found at https://www.20i.com/legal.

14.2 Provider Suspensions

CreateTheWeb cannot be held responsible if 20i suspends your hosting account.

14.3 Provider Offline

CreateTheWeb cannot be held responsible if 20i were to go offline or remove your web hosting and email hosting services.

14.4 Backups and Data Loss

CreateTheWeb cannot be held responsible for any data loss within your account. While we do take regular backups, you are responsible for the integrity, health, and security of the data within your account.

14.5 MySQL Database Limitations

MySQL Databases are limited to 1024 megabytes in size. When they reach this size, we will notify you.

14.6 Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Hosting Services as an offsite backup facility. Furthermore, in your use of the Hosting Services (other than where you are using your own virtual private server), you are prohibited from engaging in the activities outlined below:

• in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation

• in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect

• for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way

• to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards (see point 14.11)

• to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (also known as SPAM - see below)

• to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware

14.7 Account Access

CreateTheWeb and 20i will always have a root hosting account where they can access all of your website data and email data.

14.8 FTP Account Limitations

From the 1st of January 2022, you are limited to one FTP account per hosting account.

14.9 Unlimited Plan Usage

We do not set limits on the disk space and bandwidth (data transfer) that we provide in plans marked "Unlimited". We aim to provide the resources necessary for you to build a successful online presence. However, to ensure that we're providing all of our customers with optimum service, we do require all customers to utilise disk space and bandwidth related to the normal operation of a personal or small business website.

14.10 Other Terms and Conditions

For any additional terms and conditions related to website hosting and email hosting, please refer to 20i's Terms & Conditions at https://www.20i.com/legal, and any other relevant agreements or policies provided by CreateTheWeb or 20i.

14.11 Content standards

Material must:

• be accurate (where they state facts)

• be genuinely held (where they state opinions)

• comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted

Material must not:

• contain any material which is defamatory of any person

• contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory

• contain any material that is pornographic

• promote violence

• promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age

• infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person

• be likely to deceive any person

• be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence

• promote any illegal activity

• be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety

• be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person

• be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person

• give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case

• advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse

14.12 Mailbox auto delete

Any mailboxes that have not been accessed for 100 clear days will be automatically deleted from our system.

14.13 CPU limitation

We may allow your usage to exceed this CPU limitation, and we will speak to you about your hosting requirements if your usage has a detrimental effect on our other customers. Please note that this right is at our absolute discretion.

14.14 Processing capacity

Unless the Hosting Service package you order includes a virtual private server, you will only be allowed to use a maximum of 10% of 20i's server processing capacity when using our Hosting.

14.15 Maximum upload/download size

The maximum FTP and web browser upload/download size is 5GB, above which you’ll need to use another method to transfer larger file sizes. One way we’d recommend is to activate SSH on your account (£30.00 for 30 days) and then use a client like WinSCP to upload over SSH. There are no limits in this case.
