7. Copyright

7.1 Content Provided by Clients

Clients are responsible for providing any content they wish to include in their projects, such as text, images, videos, and other materials. Clients must ensure that they have the necessary rights, permissions, or licences to use the provided content and that its use does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

7.2 Copyright Retention

We retain the copyright to all designs, content, and materials created by us during the course of a project. Upon full payment of all outstanding invoices and fees, we grant clients a non-exclusive licence to use the designs and content for their intended purpose, in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

7.3 Licence to Use

By engaging our services, clients grant CreateTheWeb a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual licence to use any content, materials, or information provided by them for the purpose of fulfilling the project requirements.

7.4 Use of Work for Promotional Purposes

Clients grant CreateTheWeb the right to use any completed projects, designs, content, or other materials produced during the course of the project for promotional purposes, including but not limited to showcasing our work in our portfolio, marketing materials, and on our website and social media channels. Any sensitive or confidential information will be removed or anonymised prior to use.

7.5 Third-Party Intellectual Property

We shall not be held liable for any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property infringements resulting from the use of third-party materials provided by clients or incorporated into the project at the client's request. Clients must ensure they have the necessary rights and permissions to use such materials.

7.6 Indemnity

Clients agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CreateTheWeb, its employees, agents, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from any breach of intellectual property rights, copyright, or trademark laws related to the content and materials provided by the client or incorporated into the project at the client's request.
